We would prefer to use a "Pet Courier Service" that we have found to have your pup delivered to you. They are usually far more reasonable "price wise" than flying and alot more confortable for your pet than the Luggage hold of a B737 at 35 thousand feet.
They are alot more personable to your pet as well, as they provide snacks along the trip and mandatory rest stops so your pet may stretch or take care of some business.

You can normally have your pet delivered to your door "Priority" for around $300 or less to anywhere in the CONUS.
